Howdy, I figured I shouldn't be so anal and put work up chronologically, 'cause, well... It's just not necessarily that important! So here's some work from my uni project. We had to create a modernist magazine layout, about a modernist designer, mine being the lovely Paul Rand. We had to write the article, and it had to look like it belonged in Baseline magazine. Was a fun, but stupidly intense project; changing minor details can take like four hours when it should take four minutes. But I'm pleased with the outcome! Let me know what you think.
Hi, my name's Chris and thanks for dropping by the blog. I'm an aspiring designer, and I'm currently undertaking a degree in Graphic Communication in Cardiff.
Basically the main purpose of this blog is to act as a sort of sketchbook; or picture book for my designs, art and other bits and bobs, to kind of keep track of things, maybe push me to develop certain ideas further. I'll probably start by uploading some old sketches/designs, then once they're all up, probably update with new sketches/designs every so often.
All in all, I hope you enjoy, and please don't be hesitant in commenting etc.
